Intermediate Rifle Level 1
Details
This class is designed to build upon the knowledge learned in the Introduction to AR class. This instructor-led downrange class will include safety essentials, confirmation of zero and the use/operation of the AR-15 platform. Students will work on drills that incorporate live fire using kinesthetic alignment, mechanical offset (and the application of hold over), getting out of the optic, effective shot cadence, recoil management along with the balance of speed and precision shooting. Students must have:
- AR style rifle with a sling and sighting system (iron sights or optict)
- At least 2 magazines and 200 rounds of ammunation.

Participants: Max 6 Students
Prerequisite: Introduction to AR or formal prior training, (e.g Military/Law enforcement)
Class Duration: 3 Hours
Course of Fire: 120 Rounds
Required Gear: Ear & Eye Protection*, rifle,sling, 2 magazines, 120 rounds of ammunition and proper range attire such as closed toe shoes and shirt with a high neck.
You may bring any chest rig, plate carrier, and or gun belt you wish to utilize, although it is not a requirement for the class.
