Bow Season Kick Off – 3D Archery
How It Works:
ALL BOWHUNTERS/ARCHERS!!

BowSeason KickOff will be August 17 at Whiskey Hollow Lodge
California Start at 9am last group out at NOON!
Sign Up at saddleriverrange.com click on “Archery” and scroll down to “BowSeason KickOff.” Any “walk-up” SIGN UPS WILL BE CASH ONLY.
20 3D targets. Each target will have an orange dot in the center “10” and a smaller dot in the outer “5” ring. 2 arrows per target. When you check in just let us know if you want to shoot it as regular 3D/hunting practice OR if you want to shoot the “Trail Shoot” format. Same course, different rules!
3D/Hunting Practice:
Each target will have a cone at the MAXIMUM allowed distance. You can shoot from whatever distance you are comfortable shooting. As long as it’s between the cone and the target! Here’s your chance to challenge yourself! Can you hit a 3D deer target at 120? Only one way to find out!!
Trail Shoot:
Trail Shooter will have a designated shooting stake. They will be……. challenging but not ridiculous. Shoot both arrows from the stake. The dot in the center 10 ring will score “12.” If you’re feeling froggy or need to make up some points, the small dot in the 5 ring will score “15”…. but a miss will be a five. Choose wisely!
We will have someone making the rounds on a side-by-side will water and ICE COLD WATERMELON!
The intention of this event is to get a bunch of bowhunters together, have a good time and practice up for the upcoming season!
